PROSPECTIVE TOOLS FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY OF AN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE

Abstract

The article notes the importance of achieving financial stability in ensuring the effective operation of an agricultural enterprise, which is the basis of food security, which, in turn, is a component of the country's economic security. The definition of financial stability of an agricultural enterprise is presented, as the ability to ensure the continuous implementation of its activities, the ability to pay its obligations in a timely manner and to effectively use available resources. Factors that influence the financial stability of an agricultural enterprise are given, in particular, seasonality, price policy, and others. It is pointed out the importance of securing assets with working capital and the importance of the turnover of working capital in achieving the financial stability of an agricultural enterprise. It is noted that the acceleration of turnover of working capital is one of the key factors ensuring financial stability, as it allows: to increase financial independence, improve solvency, increase profitability, reduce bankruptcy risks, and improve the overall financial condition of the enterprise. The indicators of financial sustainability were analyzed on the example of the Company working in the agricultural sector. Indicators of the level of security of current assets with own working capital (working capital) were analyzed. Based on the analysis, the main problems in the field of managing the financial stability of the agricultural enterprise were identified, in particular: low equity capitalization, limited access of small and medium-sized enterprises to external sources of financing, suboptimal capital structure, and others. The company needs to ensure optimization of the capital structure, increase of its profitability, proper management of liquidity and diversification of funding sources. Systematized management solutions that will contribute to promising measures to optimize the financial stability of an agricultural enterprise, in particular: introduction of new technologies, development of cooperation, increase of profitability of own capital. The main prospective tools of financial stability management are summarized, namely: financial planning, working capital management, investment management, use of insurance methods, diversification of production, attraction of credit resources, use of tax benefits and discounts, minimization of tax payments.
