EXPORT POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES AND IMPROVEMENT OF COMPONENTS OF THEIR STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article carries out a comprehensive study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of formation and development of the export potential of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine, and also substantiates scientific and practical recommendations for improving the components of their strategic development in the context of globalization and increased competition in the world agri-food markets. The relevance of the study is stipulated by the need to find effective mechanisms for increasing the export capabilities of domestic agricultural enterprises and developing adaptive development strategies in the context of dynamic changes in the external environment and geopolitical challenges. The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical provisions and practical recommendations for the formation and development of the export potential of agricultural enterprises, taking into account current trends in globalization and European integration. The methodological basis of the research is a systematic approach to the study of economic phenomena and processes, as well as general scientific and special research methods: monographic - for theoretical generalization of scientific concepts; statistical and economic - for analyzing the dynamics of foreign trade indicators; structural and functional - for studying the components of export potential; abstract and logical - for formulating theoretical generalizations and conclusions. Based on the study, the main trends in the development of export activities of agricultural enterprises were identified, the commodity and geographical structure of exports of agri-food products was analyzed, and key barriers to increasing export potential were identified. The necessity of introducing innovative approaches to the strategic development of the agricultural sector, which involves a comprehensive modernization of the sectoral ecosystem, taking into account global technological trends and challenges of the modern world market, is substantiated. The mechanisms for overcoming the identified barriers are proposed, including technological modernization of production facilities, development of logistics infrastructure, implementation of international quality standards, formation of human resources and creation of agro-technological parks. The practical value of the results obtained lies in the possibility of their use in the development of strategies for the development of agricultural enterprises, the formation of state policy to support export-oriented producers and the improvement of mechanisms for regulating foreign economic activity in the agricultural sector. The proposed recommendations will help to increase the competitiveness of domestic agricultural enterprises in the international market, optimize their export activities and integrate them into global value chains.
