ENTREPRENEURIAL ECOSYSTEM IN THE MODERN INFORMATION SOCIETY
Abstract
In transforming the information society, the entrepreneurial ecosystem emerges as a multifaceted network of interactions that combines resources, partners, suppliers, customers, and means of supporting innovative development, so enterprises can create value for consumers through joint efforts and become competitive. The article is aimed at studying the peculiarities of interdependence of the main attributes of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, analyzing the tools for assessing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The author proposes a scheme of the relationship between the entrepreneurial ecosystem and its elements and the main factors of influence, which illustrates the dependence between the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the impact of globalization, digitalization, automation, information exchange, and information, in particular digital technologies that emerge and change entrepreneurial activity and its business environment. Each key aspect of the entrepreneurial ecosystem (policy, finance, culture, support, human capital, and markets) is presented in an interconnected structure that visually emphasizes its role in an ecosystem. The key factors for the successful development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem are resources, strategy, management culture, human capital, and partnership networks. The author analyzes the tools for assessing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Regular assessment of the ecosystem makes it possible to determine its impact on economic activity and maintain an appropriate level of development. There are several indicators for assessing the quality of the ecosystem, such as the density, fluidity, and diversity of economic ties. Indicators of new firms' density, ranking of labor market mobility, and the density of high-tech companies are also considered. Interconnections between businesses, migration flows, market specializations, and the level of foreign expertise are all important elements that characterize the ecosystem's diversity and ability to develop. The success of an entrepreneurial ecosystem largely depends on the development of human capital through access to educational programs, training, and specialized courses.
