FACTORS OF TRANSFORMATION OF ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF TRANSITION TO GREEN ENERGY
Abstract
In today's environment, businesses inevitably need to adapt their business processes to new environmental standards that reduce their environmental impact. The transition to renewable energy sources is becoming part of the sustainable development strategies of economically developed countries, covering both enterprises and territorial entities. These circumstances force organisations to change their management approaches, introducing new technologies to meet environmental requirements and adapting their operations to new realities. The successful integration of green technologies enables businesses to reduce their negative environmental impact and meet the current challenges of sustainable development. In addition, the transition to green energy contributes to the competitiveness of companies in the global and domestic markets. The fact is that using green technologies reduces long-term operating costs and attracts the attention of environmentally conscious consumers. In addition, the transformation of management in the context of the transition to green energy is stimulated by regulations related to the greening of production. Companies have access to various types of support, such as tax breaks, subsidies, grants and investments. Researching the factors that influence the transformation of management in the context of the transition to green energy will allow companies to minimise risks and use opportunities for growth and leadership in the face of new sustainability requirements. In the article, we identify and characterise the critical factors of transformation of enterprise management in the context of the transition to green energy. We have classified these factors in terms of direct and indirect influence. The list of aspects of direct impact includes the development of technological innovations in green energy, availability and sufficiency of financial resources, environmental and energy awareness of stakeholders, regulatory requirements for green energy, economic feasibility of implementing green energy projects, and actions of competitors in the direction of transition to it. Indirect impact factors include research and development activities in green energy, global trends in sustainable development and business greening, educational and information components of green energy, environmental awareness of society, geopolitical changes, and changes in market conditions.
