DRIVERS AND TRENDS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMY
Abstract
The article updates the issues of digital transformation and new trends in innovative digital innovations. Digital transformation is a distinctly new concept, regardless of the company's vast reliance on technology. At its core, this means the introduction of new technologies to achieve specific business goals to optimize process operations, develop new products and opportunities for increasing competitive advantages in the market. The biggest change for traditional thinking will be not so much the creative integration of technology as it will be a fundamental restructuring of corporate culture and organization. It has been established that the development of digital technologies stimulates digital transformation as a strategic priority that guarantees leading positions for enterprises. It has been confirmed that digitalization comes with a change in information technology, which is understood as a systematic approach to the use of digital technologies to increase productivity, competitiveness of production and accelerated economics development. It has been updated that to assess the level of digital transformations, the Digital Transformation Index, developed by The Independent British firm Vanson Bourne, is used, which is funded as follows: the company experiences business leaders and managers who have the right to accept decisions that are strategically important for a business organization. According to the McKinsey Global Institute's Galouze Digital Index, Europe accounts for 12% of its digital potential, Germany - 10% of its digital potential, the UK - 17%, and the USA - 18%. In other words, the country is not fully exploiting its digitalization potential. The work reinforces the current trends of digital transformation, which mean the development of digital transformations. The change in the digital landscape allows for a wide range of activities, from the proliferation of chatbots with piecemeal intelligence to the growing costs of cyber-malware. Companies will have a hard time making changes to stay ahead of the curve in digital transformation, but with the right strategy they can create a competitive edge.
