THE ROLE OF DIGITAL WIKI PLATFORMS IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROCESSES: RELEVANCE AND PROSPECTS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the overview of the distinguishing feature of wiki platforms – their openness. The paper examines the main aspects of openness and analyzes the advantages of this trait and its importance for sustainable development. The study's results prove the importance of openness as a fundamental principle of wiki platforms, which promotes public participation, interaction and cooperation, and effective exchange of knowledge and creation of quality content. Implementing digital platforms is crucial for successful European integration and sustainable economic construction. These platforms facilitate the dissemination of information about European standards, stimulate interaction between stakeholders and engage the public in dialogue. Online environments wiki platforms are unique because they enable users to work together to create, edit, and share knowledge. However, the main characteristic of wiki platforms is their openness and transparency, which provide broad access to information and the possibility of participation of all interested parties based on the principles of trust in wiki platforms. Openness promotes the involvement of diverse interest groups and helps create more objective and comprehensive content. In addition, thanks to the joint work of many users, information is quickly updated and improved. The presence of transparency portals can be an effective tool for countering fraudulent actions that hinder the country's European integration. Empowering the public to document corruption cases by developing online wiki reporting platforms or mobile applications can help fight corruption in real-time. Ukraine already has several such wiki platforms and online tools that help fight corruption and increase transparency in public administration. In addition, Ukrainian wiki platforms for innovations and startups can become essential for European integration, promote sustainable development and support innovative entrepreneurship in Ukraine. Involvement of users, cooperation, access to knowledge and international collaboration can become catalysts for the development of the creative potential of the country. It is emphasized that the principle of openness of wiki platforms contributes to creating a global community of knowledge where everyone can participate in creating, editing and using information. This promotes the rapid spread of new technologies, innovations and knowledge transfer and creates conditions for greater accountability, transparency and control, which can help reduce corruption and ensure the sustainable development of society. In the context of European integration, the implementation of digital wiki platforms becomes an essential factor contributing to successful European integration, building a sustainable economy and ensuring a harmonious society.
