CONCEPTUAL PRINCIPLES OF FINANCING "GREEN" PROJECTS OF BUSINESS STRUCTURES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article presents the conceptual principles of financing "green" projects of business structures in the context of sustainable development. The authors highlight a strategic approach to planning that takes into account the long-term goals of green development. This concept examines approaches and principles that help ensure effective financing of business initiatives aimed at green development and reducing the impact on the environment. Methods of attracting internal and external financial resources are considered, in particular, specialized green investment instruments. The importance of environmental auditing and collaboration with various partners to achieve sustainable financial sustainability is also identified. The article is worth the attention of specialists, entrepreneurs and investors who are interested in the development of financial mechanisms to promote green growth and sustainable development. Green investments are becoming increasingly relevant in today's world as businesses and governments look for ways to implement sustainable development and reduce their negative impact on the environment. The experience of foreign countries shows that financial support for sustainable development is possible and helps to achieve environmental and economic goals at the same time. Turning to the experience of "green" investing in Ukraine, it should be noted that there is an interest in socially responsible investing in the Ukrainian business community. However, according to experts, Ukraine has not yet developed a system of special standards in this area at the appropriate level, and there is also no motivation system for Ukrainian companies. However, in practice, obtaining green investment can be relatively difficult if the company is operating at a loss and has negative equity. Most investors and financial institutions specializing in green investments usually set certain requirements regarding the financial stability and profitability of the enterprises that apply to them. In addition, there is a war going on in Ukraine and attracting foreign investors is unlikely.
