THE CURRENT STATE OF UKRAINE'S FOREIGN TRADE UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF ECONOMIC INSTABILITY

Abstract

Today, international economic ties are the primary factors of the country's economic growth, effective national production, acting as a mechanism for establishing foreign trade activities. The country's economy cannot in any case be considered healthy in the absence of an economic and industrial community in the world space. No country in the world can function effectively and develop being separated from other states and isolated from the global processes taking place in the region where it is located. Successfully established foreign trade relations are one of the indicators of the development of the country's economy. Today, Ukraine's foreign trade is developing under the influence of changes in many spheres of life, such as: economic, political, military, cultural, humanitarian, ecological and others. Foreign trade in goods and services plays an important role in forming the country's GDP and stimulating the development of Ukraine's economy. The studied topic acquires special relevance due to the imperfect solution of issues related to the organization of foreign economic relations, the determination of the political role in international trade and the exit of domestic products to the platforms of world trade. The purpose of the article is to assess the current state of the foreign trade market of Ukraine, to study the circulation of commodity exports and imports of Ukraine, in conditions of economic instability. The article examines the international trade market and the formation of economic and industrial relations with the world's leading countries. Indicators of dependence of Ukraine's economy on foreign trade were calculated and their share in the country's gross domestic product was analyzed. The data on the distribution of Ukraine's foreign trade by geographic regions for the last two years were studied. It was concluded that one of the main tasks today remains the introduction of integral state support in the formation of international relations, improvement of the potential advantages of Ukrainian production and establishment of an innovative base to improve the quality of manufactured products.
